I thought I had a broken pelvis, but the doctor said it is really a broken hip. I just got a cast and I am having a lot of trouble walking because I can't use my back leg so good. It's kinda scary but everyone is being nice to me.

My new foster mom is pretty cool - she has to keep me quiet for several weeks while I am being checked out by my doctors and recovering and they say I might need surgery. She keeps telling me to sit still and I'm trying but it's hard when you have so much explore, do and learn. She says that "Please Sit Still" is my Native name - but I say "No I'm just Mackey!"

Since Homeward Bound has received so many inquires about me and many generous offers to help with my medical needs they put up a link up to Pay Pal - the outpouring for support, emails makes my foster mom cry. I didn't know there were so many good people in the world and it makes me even happier to be here. Thank you to everyone who sends caring emails about me and thank you for helping me!
